We get to see a lot of great teams in a lot of amazing locales- museums, parks, beautiful new headquarters, and more. We can’t help raving over the setting of one of our  DiSC® workshops this summer: The Setai Hotel in South Beach, Florida.

The Setai Hotel Exceeded Our Expectations, and We Exceeded Theirs

If you don’t know this hotel, it’s on Collins Ave. just north of the Art Deco district. It faces the Atlantic Ocean, which is reason enough to love this hotel. But they go beyond expectations and offer such incredible Asian-inspired luxury it’s hard to find words … spa-like? 

Lucky for us, the DiSC® training was held on-site, so we got to experience some of the magic of this incredible hotel. And it turns out the Setai Hotel team was impressed with us as well, since they loved their training and will continue to the next level of DiSC® training with us.

DiSC® Training for Management

The workshop consisted of DiSC® training for over 40 of the management team at The Setai. It went even better than we could have hoped. If you’re not familiar with DiSC®, it’s a simple, easy-to-understand platform for understanding personality styles.

We study the basic styles, and groups learn how those styles color the way we communicate. By comprehending the connection between the DiSC® types and behavior in the workplace, we can then learn how to make better communication a priority.

When you’re in the business of offering the utmost in luxury to some of the world’s most discriminating guests, your communication skills have to be on-par with the expectations of your guests.  It’s your job to interpret correctly everything that goes on, so understanding personality styles is key.
