Tips Tuesdays: Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication

When it comes to communication there are two main types: verbal and non-verbal. We tend to lend more credit to verbal, our words. But the reality is our non-verbal communication is just as important! What I mean is, the way that we walk up to speak to a group is noteworthy.

We should have good posture, show confidence with a smile on our face, and try to connect with our audience using gestures and enthusiasm. It says just as much – or more – than the words we speak!

So let’s not limit the significance of our non-verbal communication when it comes to connecting with our audience.
