Facial Expressions: Learn to communicate effectively with Magnovo’s Tips Tuesdays series

Facial Expressions, what do you do with them?Do we understand how important facial expressions are when we communicate? When we step up in front of an audience and we have a stern look on our face and we start telling people we are excited to be there and we have a lot of great information to share with them — do you think they are buying that?

We need to understand that facial expressions are as important as the words that come out of our mouth. If we are smiling and have a joy in our eyes, showing excitement in our face – then people are going to be on board that we are excited. But when we keep our jaw clinched and we don’t seem happy to be there – our face says way more than the words!

So remember, facial expressions are extremely important when trying to connect with an audience.
