Rescue Buddies™ Stuffed Animal Team Building Workshop

Philanthropic Team Building

Stuffed Animal Team Building

Your team works through fast-paced challenges to assemble plush "rescue buddies," then donates them to firefighters and emergency responders who hand them to frightened children in a crisis. It's problem-solving with a heartbeat, and the payoff goes far beyond the conference room.

Let's Build Your Experience ➡

Solving Problems, Saving Smiles

Did you know that firefighters and other emergency responders often carry stuffed animals to comfort children at the scene of an accident, a fire, or a medical emergency? That small plush toy can be the one calm thing in a child's worst moment, and your team gets to be the reason it's there.

The Rescue Buddies™ workshop develops team problem-solving skills through a series of fast-paced, collaborative challenges. This is much more than simply stuffing toy animals. It's a problem-solving activity that addresses strategy, execution, and the impact of independent roles and functions on the big picture and overall success.

What Is the Rescue Buddies™ Stuffed Animal Team Building Workshop?

Rescue Buddies™ is a hands-on, charity stuffed animal team building workshop where groups work through facilitated challenges, assemble and personalize plush animals, and donate them to local firehouses, emergency responders, or a children's charity of your choice. It pairs genuine team development with a donation that lands in the hands of a child who truly needs it.

It works for groups of nearly any size, in your venue or ours, and it's fully customized around your meeting theme, your goals, and the cause you want to support.

The Experience

How the Rescue Buddies™ Workshop Works

01

Take On the Challenges

Teams move through fast-paced, facilitated challenges built around strategy and execution, surfacing how individual roles and functions affect the success of the whole group.

02

Assemble the Rescue Buddies

Working together, teams assemble and personalize plush rescue buddies. The build rewards clear communication and coordination, and the energy in the room climbs as the finished animals start adding up.

03

Debrief & Donate

In a guided debrief, the team reflects on what they experienced and ties it back to real workplace issues. Then the finished buddies are donated to emergency responders or a children's charity, a tangible reminder of what the team accomplished together.

Charity Team Building That's Meaningful for Your Team and Your Community

When possible, we'll arrange for members of a local firehouse or other emergency responders to receive your donation in person. Picture a workshop wrap-up filled with goosebumps as a responder shares a recent story about a child's eyes lighting up when they were handed a comforting stuffed animal in the middle of an emergency.

That moment is what turns a fun activity into something your team carries with them. We provide an opportunity for groups to overcome challenges, and sometimes frustrations, in ways that stimulate learning and growth both individually and as a team. Individuals discover how they can make unique contributions at any stage of team development and how to cope with problems as they arise.
